2023-09-01-annual-report

Good evening everyone,

It gives me great pleasure to present the Chairperson's Report for the Kesh Primary School Parent Support Group (PSG) for the year ended 31 August 2023.

The past year has been a very successful and rewarding one for our PSG. Through the generosity and support of parents, families, staff, local businesses and the wider community, we have been able to organise a number of enjoyable fundraising and community events while making a significant contribution to the school.

Throughout the year, we hosted several successful events including raffles at the school Christmas performances, our Valentine's Disco, a Ladies' Night held in the NFC Clubhouse, Break the Rules Day within the school, and our ever-popular Family Fun Night. These events not only raised valuable funds but also helped bring together our school community and created enjoyable experiences for pupils and families alike.

I am also delighted to report that the Easyfundraising App generated an additional £352.77 for the school. This demonstrates how small actions by supporters throughout the year can make a meaningful difference to our fundraising efforts.

The funds raised by the PSG have enabled us to support several important projects within the school. During the year, contributions were made towards:

These improvements will have a lasting impact on the learning environment, safety and overall experience of the pupils.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our committee members. I would like to sincerely thank every member of the PSG committee for their support, commitment and assistance throughout the year. Your willingness to volunteer your time and energy has been instrumental in the success of our events and fundraising activities.

Looking ahead to the coming year, we are excited to continue our fundraising efforts and community activities. Planned events include a school disco, Family Fun Night and a Christmas Craft Fundraiser. We look forward to receiving the continued support of parents, families and the wider community as we work together for the benefit of the school and its pupils.

Finally, I would like to thank the pupils, staff, parents, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who has supported Kesh Primary School PSG during the year. Your generosity and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated.
