Summary of main activities and main achievements in the year

During the year, the PTA held four main fundraising events, a Rail Sale, a Spooky Tractor Run at Halloween, the Annual Christmas Fair and a Quiz Night. All of these events were well supported by Parents and Friends of the School and were thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended. In addition to this, the PTA signed up to the Asda Cash Pot Scheme this year and raised over £300 through this scheme. These events provided the majority of the income for the year.

This year saw the PTA fund Spanish Lessons for the entire School, fund the Charanga Musical School Licence and transport costs. The PTA also used funds to enhance the school’s outdoor area by purchasing new play equipment which has been thoroughly enjoyed by the children. The PTA also funded the purchase of 6 I-Pads for the school and new literacy resources. This year, the PTA provided a fun activity for the Children at the end of eachterm, In December Eureka Seekers visited the school providing the children with the opportunity to do fun science experiments, February saw the school hosting a Valentines Disco and then in June, there was a Summar fun day where there were bouncy castles, face painters and a BBQ. All, of these events were thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

The Trustees have had regard to the Commissioners Public Health benefit requirement statutory guidance.
