Ballinderry Primary School PTA Northern Ireland Charity Number: 100365 Trustee Annual Report Financial Period 01 August 2024 – 31 July 2025
Ballinderry Primary School PTA is made up of a membership of both Parents and Teachers who give up their time on a voluntary basis and work collectively to raise funds to enable the school to purchase much needed equipment and resources.
These resources are implemented to benefit each pupil in the school. The Charity meets in the school premises at Ballinderry Primary School, 8D Crumlin Road, Ballinderry Lower, Lisburn, BT28 2BF.

The Charity was formed in 2015. It is governed by their Constitution (agreed with PTA UK and Charity Commission NI) and all members of Committee are appointed during the Annual AGM.
The Charitable purposes of Ballinderry Primary School PTA are to provide educational resources for the school and organise family-friendly community events to generate funds. Regular fundraising events include Spring and Winter fairs, Movie nights, Easter Egg Rolling/decorating competitions and Christmas raffles. Recent purchases have included new IT equipment for pupil use and sport’s day prizes/trophies. Parents are encouraged to take an active part in school life through their membership in the PTA, which not only actively fundraises throughout the school year for many additional resources for the children but also manages and runs a variety of key events in the school calendar.
This year, we held a number of successful events. These included Cash for Clobber collections, a secondhand uniform sale, Christmas card design fundraiser, Easter competitions of guess the name of the Easter bunny, a very successful Christmas raffle and Summer Fair, and providing refreshments to parents on at the school open evening, music evening and sport’s day.
The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance and have had regard to this when running the charity.
In the financial year 1st August 2024 to 31st July 2025 the income of the PTA was £9,351.53 with an expenditure of £7804.42 The PTA funded IT equipment including Chrome Books and I Pads, provided Easter eggs, sport’s day trophies and medals, and a leaving gift to each Year 7 pupil.
There are no funds held by the charity that are materially in deficit.
