Structure, Governance and Management of Fermanagh Mencap
is governed by its Constitution that was adopted on S December 2004.
The trustees at the date of this report and those who served during the
financial year together with the dates of any changes are set out are listed

Objectives and Activities

Key Activities in this Year
Meeting for activities is still causing issues as drivers that previously worked
have now relinquished their roles. Mini buses are unavailable for use.
Our annual carol service at Magheracross Church Ballinamallard in December
took place again, attendance improved slightly after advertising on social
media.
The Fennanagh Mencap Committee and Gateway members met for a social
evening and AGM on 12 March 2024. Members were reolected on the night.
Fennanagh Mencap Trustees have considered Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our
objectives and in planning our future activities to ensure that these achieve
the association's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries.
Financlal Review
Review of Business
Femanagh Mencap is non-profit making with net income and resources in
this year of £13,009.87. The trustees continue to manage resources in an
efficient and sustainable manner.

Reserves Pollcy
Fermanagh Mencap have a Reserves Policy. which requires that reserves are
built or maintained at a level which ensures that the organisations core
activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the
organisations known liabilities will be paid should the organisation cease to
trade.
Future Plans
Fennanagh Mencap plan to continue to focus on controlling costs, while
maintaining the high standards of service to our beneficiaries. It is our hope
for this upcoming year that transport issues could be resolved, enabling us to
meet more regularly.
STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES
for the year ended 3110312024
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in
ac￿r￿an￿ with applicable Jaw and r.egul.ation.s.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which
disdose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the
charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply
with all appropriate re.gulations. They are also responsible for
safeguanling the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps
for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. O
In so far as the trustees are aware:
there is no relevant information (information needed by the charity's
independent examiner in connection with preparing the independent
examiners report) of which the charity's independent examiner is
unaware, and
the trustees have taken all the steps that they ought to have taken to
make themselves aware of any relevant independent examiner
information and to establish that the charity's independent examiner
is aware of that information.
