The promotion and improvement of road safety particularly to improve the standards of driving and
riding on the roads. by training driver5 andlor riders (hereinafter referred to only as drivers) lo take

As rider51thivers who have developed their skills in this way are able to manage and ttduce the risk
io themselves and io oiher road users of being involved in an Krc, with benefits to themselve5 and
society as a whole. Achievement of a test pass recogni5e5 that they have met a national quality
as5wed standard of thivinglriding beyond that required for issue of a driving licence. Observe

renewable qualification.
The number of existing mernbers renewing their membership has reduced slightly this year and so
the risk to funding and membership available to as5i5t new Associate5 Prepare for test has increased.
The Cotnmitlee will keep under review renewal methods and also communication methods with
rnembers to encourage renewals as well as activitse5 which include a social elemeni thai encourages
members to rernain with the Group.

13.1 cu￿ent account
The balance of the accoun( a131 October 2024 stands at £938.64. This account is used to deal with
all routine payments and receipts for the Group.
Overall expenditure was £583.23. which is £336.77 less than the overall income of £920.00 in this
reponin8 year. The expenditure was mostly telaied io the cos15 of running Advanced Driver/Rlder
courses. panicularly r(M)m hire.
13.2 Reserve account
The balance of the resetve accounl at 31 October 2024 is £5 625.53. This is held to offsei possible
variatiorLS in subscriptions and Provide for significani purchases and contingencies including, but
not limited to:
replacement of Group laptop (used for ptesentation of drivingjriding course material, similar
purposes at other Group eveni& and athninistration of the Group)
replacement of the Group data projector (used for presentation of drivinWriding course
maierial and similar purposes at other Group events)
purchase and replacement of bam]e￿. flags and other pn)motional materials.

13.3 Other Assets and Liabilities (i.e. excluding cash and bank balances)
After a review of equipmeni purchases in the past, it was found that all the items ￿Ported in
previous year were more than seven years old. The mistees decided that on a standard approach to
depreciatson. Ihis would mean the iiems each had zero value. No additional siatement of asset5 and
liabilities is therefore included in this year's return.

As at 31 October 2024 the charity had no funds maierially in deficit.
