(hereinafter known as the IAM) and for those people to further
their own training and become Observers, qualified by the IAM, to prepare other candidaies
{Associates) for the IAM advanced driving test.

Drivingjriding skills for existing Full rnembers
The Nl Re8iond Forum in Newtownards was attended by the Chair and several other
members to hear the latest inforniation from headquarters on publications and organisauon
of courses, and to revitalise the relauonships be￿een Groups which had been inierrupted by
Ihe COVID epidemic.

New training videos were developed by the Group's chief observer and his team for use in ￿lU
Advanced Rider l Driver courses, addre&5ing in particularAdvanced Riding skills.

have demonstrated iheir commitmeni io maintsin and improve on these standards by undertaking
addiuonal tests io a national quaIity assured sthndart which at National level is a time-limiied
renewable qualification.
The number of existing members renewing their membetship has steadied this year and so the risk
to funding and membership available to assisi new Associates prepare for test has reduced. The
Commiltee will keep under review renewal methods and a]so communication meihods with
Members 10 encourage renewals as well as aaivities which include a social elemeni that encourages
members to remain with the Group.

13.1 Current account
The balance of the account at 31 October 2023 ￿and$ at £601.87. (No adjustsnent for items not yet
presenied was required.) This account is Used to deal with all routine payments and receipts for the
Group.
Overall expenditu￿ was £1394.97, which is £489.97 rnore than the overall income of £905.00 in
this reporting year. The most significant set of payments was made in respect of the nmning of the
Group and Advanced Driver/Advanced Rider courses.
13.2 Reserve account
The balance of the reserve account ai 31 October 2023 is £5 533.41. This is held offset possible
variations in subscriptions and ptvvide for Significant purchases and contingencies including, but
not limited to:
replacement of Group laptop (used for pre5eDtation of thivinFJriding course material, similar
purposes at oiher Group events, and administrauon of the Group)
replacement of the Group data projecior (used for presenthuon of drivinFJriding course
material and simijar purposes at other Group events)

purchase and replacement of banners, flags and other promotional materials.
