ACCOUNTING POLICIES** ## **BASIS OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS** The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard 102 and the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations Northern Ireland 2015. The statements have been prepared on an accruals basis as required by the SORP. A summary of the more important accounting policies are set out below: ## **Income** Income is received by way of donations, gifts and grants and is included in full on the SOFA. Investment Income is included in full on the SOFA. ## **Expenditure - Charitable activities** These are costs associated with the promotion of temperance activities. ## **Fund Accounting** The charity has only one type of fund which requires separate disclosure.
