Independent Examinerfs Report to the Trustees of EMBRACE NIC100294 I report on the accounts of the organisation for the year ended 31 March 2023. Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and Examiner The chariws Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. The charity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 65 (2) of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 {The Charities Att) or under Regulation 10 (I) (dl of the Charities Accounts {Scotland) Regulations 20061the 2006 Accounts Regulations) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under Section 65 of the Charitie5 Act. follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under Section 65 (9) {b) of the Charities Act. State whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of the Independent Exarninerfs Report I have examined your charity accounts as required under Sectlon 65 of the Charlties Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general direction5 given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under Section 6519) (b) of the Charitie5 Att. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. My role Is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept In accordance with settion 63 of the Charities Act. 2. That the account5 do not accord with those accounting records. 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act. 4. That there 15 further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. Independent Examlnerfs Statement I have completed my examination and have no concerns in respect of the matters (l) to (4) listed above in connection with following the directions of the Charity Comrnission for Northern Ireland.
