These include: (1) Preserving and developing Lisnaskea Workhouse, which is a property of historic and architectural importance; (2) Advancing education, through highlighting the Great Famine in Ireland and the major role played by the Irish Workhouses; (3) Providing or supporting training and employment opportunities; (4) Providing amenities and attractions for the local community and for tourism.
