Although Trustees have a legal responsiblllty for the activitles of the mi88ion and meet at least 3 times a year. The mission employs one full-time worker who is responsible for Overseeing the ongoing charity work in the Ukraine. He is also responsible for the day to day organizational arrangements in Northern Ireland. Faith in Acknon Missions Registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland on 2nd June 2014. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCES FAITH IN ACTION MISSIONS, NEWTOWNARDS 2023- 2024 Faith in Action Missions (F.l.A.M.) thank the Lord for all his ongoing provision. We thank, and praise Him for providing approximately £ ---------- this financial year. This money has been used to great effect to support and help many people living in veryarduous conditions, in the Ukraine (FIAM) employee and volunteers continue to speak at many different church meetings. Donald, Joe, Martin, and Colin provide verbal reports and show PowerPoint presentations highlighting the ongoing work in Eastem Europe. It is the financi81 support provided from these church meeting3 and sponsors that allows FIAM to continue to support a variety of different projects for the rBlief of many deprived and disadvantaged people. ANNUAL REPORT 2023 12024 Because of the war in Ukraine F.l.A.M. have been unable to travel to Ukraine throughout this year, and were unable to make any visits. War in Ukraine Sadly in February 24 2022 war broke out in Ukraine, Flam were unable to go to Ukraine but were still able to send finances through to the frontline churches in Kharkiv, who in turn were able to feed people and help them through the terrible time they were going through, people who had lost their homes and were now hiding in subways, and also in basements, we were also able to help people in the surrounding villages, through those fInan￿S many people were helped with food and humanitarian aid, many were also given refuge in the schools and churches that we supported, and also in the house of hope Flam were also able to help purchase a car to enable one of the workers who deals with all of the finances that we send, and who also deals with the legal side of everything that is done. Northern Ireland Fiarn were able to rescue a further six people from Ukraine and bring them to Northern Ireland for safety, these people were given accomrnodation in Hebron free Presbyterian church until we find them private rented

accommodation. Life has been very difficult for the Ukrainian families that we brought here, at Christmas we were able to present all of the families with turkeys and meat lo help them through the Christmas period. We were also able to support the Ukrainian church in Ballymoney financially, by sending them to Castlewellan castle for a three day camp, the Ukrainian people were able to come together and comfort one another through the word of God, and other activities. A Mercedes sprinter van was purchased for the work of humanitarian aid for Ukraine Flam also supported a Ukrainian family, the man of the family was suffering every day from Epilepsy, and we were able to support this family by giving them finances to help them to purchase a car. Stari Saltov village Flam continued to support the small village of Stari Saltiv, finances were sent to purchase food to help the elderly who had remained behind in the village. We also supported an elderly lady by paying for a hip operation for her, she could no longer walk, and was unable to look after her elderly husband who suffers with depression. Support was also given to help evacuate many people from this area, and other areas Drug & Alcohol rehabilitation Centre The Centre has been a very big help to many who have suffered with addictions for many years, we have been able to support them through the "war financially as the rehab continues to work with people who have addictions.

Through the finances that we help them with they have been able to keep their programs going within the Centre, we are also able to help the people in nearby villages through these finances, We also supported the work of the rehab financially, this enabled them to purchase provisions, and also bake bread in their large ovens to help the people. We also helped to pay the rent for the building in which all of the rehabilitation ministry is done. Flam also help a one week camp for the people in the Centre, where the word of God was tsught to the people. A Christmas party was also held for children and their families, and gifts were given to them all Llght of thè Gospel church Flam were also able to send finances through to this church, the light of the gospel church are helping to feed many people when the bombing in Kharkiv has stopped, they were able to go to nearby villages and subways, transporting food, medicines, sleeping bags, blankets, clothing, and many more items to the people who had lost their homes. A new heating system was also installed to keep the people warm through the harsh winter One Pastor is being sponsored monthly from this church as he continues the work of Faith in action missions. Flam were also able to support 4 one day camps for disabled people, they were given food and clothing to take home with them, they were also taught the Word of God We also fInan￿d 4 one day camps for young people, fun and games were held for the young people, and the word of God was taught. Flam also support the many adults who are now coming to the church, war

has made many people think about God, and are now attending this church and many others, the people are helped with humanitarian aid that we send, and food packages. We were also able to support the church financially to help evacuate many people from the war zone and bring them to safety. The Help and Happiness fund Flam have also been supporting this fund with fInan￿S as they reach out to many people in the badly bombed City of Kharkiv. Through the finances that are sent to them they also take part in feeding the people who have lost their homes due to the war, as they feed people living on the streets, basements, subways, and as they reach into villages to help families. Many people in these areas have benefited from the aid that we send, people receive food, incontinent pads, wheelchairs, walking frames, hygiene boxes, mobility scooters are also provided for people who cannot walk. Finances were also sent to make more rooms to accommodate refuges from the war zone. House of hope The house of hope continues to work well despite the war in Ukraine, presently over 30 elderly residents are now being shelte￿d there from the war, the residents who are living there were truly underprivileged people, but now they are being loved and cared for through the house of hope. We were also able to leave finances with the Pastor to help look after the sick and elderly and finances were also given to purchase new items for the home. All of the residents of the house of hope re￿iVed a Christmas gfft, and the carers also received a Christmas gift. Sokolova Church F.l.A.M. also took part in an outreach to the elder￿ and needy families from the villages in Sokolova, which included all of the elderly receiving a gift of various food items, we also helped many families financially as work was hard to come by, we were also able to help people who were very sick, and had to be hospitalized.

Due to the war we were able to send finances to help the Sokolova church to give many people refuge, and also to feed them, thousands of people have been helped through the finances that have been sent. Faith in action were also able to support one of our volunteers who was ill and lost herjob, this woman had adopted ten orphans into herfamily, now that she was unemployed and ill, we were able to support her throughout the year financially. Much humanitarian aid has been sent to this location, and because of this many people have been helped. A Christmas paty and gifts We￿ also given to approxlmately 200 young people. Flam also sent 7 young people with carers to the Carpathians for treatrnent, children with disabilities benefited from this Kharklv We continue to support the people who live in villages through the wellness fund, and also through the churches. People receive incontinent pads for people who have been injured in the war, or people who are sick and elderly. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are also provided for the people who need them. Humanitarian aid is distributed far and wide, and many people benefit from the aid that we send. Kharkiv is a city of almost 2,000,000 people, and we have been able to help people in many of the villages in Kharkiv Prisons As the prison rehab teams go into the prisons, they go with the good news of the gospel, and through this men and women whose lives have been destroyed by crime come to God to be saved. When they leave prison they come and live in the prison rehab that we have

helped to build over the years, here they go through rehabilitation, and are then integrated back into society. We were also able to support the prison ministry with finances to purchase food for the people who were suffering through war. Many people are now attending the church here. Many people are now attending this church because of the war, and are now being helped. We were also able to support the prison rehab financially due to a fire that badly destroyed part of the building Humanltarian aid Fiarn are also sending trucks full of aid to Ukraine, this year 12 trucks were sent full of good help for the people, our trucks go by boat to the mainland, and then drive to the Polishlukrainian border to pass the aid on to the people who deliver the aid to its destination. Mattresses, incontinent pads, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walking frames, hygiene boxes, Christmas boxes, and many other items are sent to help the people through the war. Future Projects Future projects are on hold due to the war, and also due to the ongoing problems in the country.
