Section C Notes to the Accounts
C1 Nature and purpose of General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in funds (may be stated on furtherance of the general objectives of Cappella Caeciliana and which have not been designated for other analysis of funds worksheets) purposes.
Restricted funds are funds which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors and grant funding bodies or which have been raised by Cappella Caeciliana for particular purposes. The costs of raising and administering such funds are charged against the specific fund.
Iin January 2023 we received a grant from Arts Council of Northern Ireland for £7,290 relating to a project taking place in April 2023. As per a condition of the grant this is categorised separately as a restricted fund. All other monies are unrestricted.
