## Activities

**Purposes:** The Association is hereby established to: Relieve poverty, advance health, community development, arts, culture, heritage, equality and diversity, environmental improvement, and the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage for the benefit of the inhabitants of Benburb Village and rural hinterland its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
