The Charity is a Charitable company limited by guarantee and was in¢orporated on 17th January 2007.

Due lo the natura of the charty trustees are appdnted on the basis of thelr 8xp8rtise. Wo spècifically
look for Iwstees who have proven expertise in youth tssues and current leglslalion related to young
people.
The Board is reviewed annually lo ensure that the appropriate mix ol skllls is maintain8d and to identity
if any further skills are required lo ensure the company tocuses on its core work.

Clonard Monastery Youth Contrè has strived to promote the b9nelit of children and young people in the
Clonard area, through a range of developmenlal and educalional programmes throughout the year.
Over the course of the year wo provided young pèople with opportunilias to develop emotionalty,
physically and spiribJ￿ty as well as providing y¢ung p￿pIe wllh the OPPOflunlty to lake part in
int&fnaiional trips and viow the world in a wider conlexe. All programmes and 58Ni¢es ollored in the
youth contre have promoted capacity building and encouraged gr0￿h and grealer self-esleem and
leadership skills In young people.

In the past year we increased our attendances and membershlp numbers as young people availed of
the brarKI naw facilities after ￿fUrt)Ishmenl
We were able to plan and organise 2 intemalional learning experlences which will lake place in the
coming year.
Wa dso devèloped a Junror and senior youth fowm wthin Ihe youth centre who spearheaded some
fantaslic work within lh8 youth centre and allowed us to grow from slrength lo strength.
Our detached workers continued to engage with young people in and around ihe Clonard and
Springliold Roa(1 areas and provided young pgople ￿ much needed support and guidance
throughoLrt the year.
Programm8S With Youth Justice Agancy to help raise awareness of issues of anti-social behaviour.

organisalion. It has established a policy whereby the unrestricted funds not committed or Invested In
tangible fixed assets held by the charity should be one years 8xpenditUfe. The charity has budgeted
expendilure in 2024125 of £150,(I)O inclusive of the staff and premises costs that are mgt from
restricted funding and the truste6s will target to hav8 reserves of £150,000.
