## Activities

**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote Christianity, advance education and to promote the benefit of young people between the ages of 8 and 24 years of age (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) within Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) and especially (but not exclusively) in Portadown and its environs of County Armagh, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to provide recreational facilities so to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved, and in particular: a) to develop an educational support programme for the beneficiaries and provide for their pastoral care.
