**Purposes:** The Charity’s Objects are specifically restricted to the following:- (1)To advance community development by: (a)	promoting and providing volunteering opportunities and activities for the benefit of individuals and communities in the North West region of the island of Ireland (the “area of benefit”); (b)	supporting and developing the work of community and voluntary groups and organisations in charitable activity which seeks to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit. (2)To advance education and training for the public benefit by delivering training and mentoring to volunteers, staff and directors / management committee members of volunteering-involving organisations in the area of benefit.
