Re: Trustees’ Annual Report for the period April 2024 – March 2025
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are writing to accompany the submission of the Trustees’ Annual Report for Wise Men of the East Network 31 March 2025 . for the financial year ending
Please note that the current trustees only took up their positions in June 2024 . The charity was under the direction and management of a different board of trustees prior to this date. As a result, the current trustees are unable to comment on or provide documentation relating to any period before June 2024 , as we do not have access to those historical records or accounts.
Following our appointment, we have made every reasonable effort to contact the previous trustees to obtain relevant financial and administrative documentation, but unfortunately, this has not been successful. We have, however, been in contact with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland regarding this matter and have followed the advice provided.
We can confirm that the current trustees now have full access to the charity’s bank accounts and have maintained proper records from June 2024 onwards. All activities and financial transactions since that date have been managed in accordance with the charity’s purposes and good governance practices.
