Report of the Committee
The committee members present their Annual Report along with the Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2019 which have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by the Charities Act (NI) 2008.

Organisation and Structure
The charity is unincorporated and has registered with The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland – Charity number NIC100177.
The charity is run and managed by the committee which consists of the chairperson and six other members.
The Society is governed by its constitution which was adopted at the Society’s Inaugural General Meeting on 17 November 2003. The Charity is constituted by association of its members. There are no trustees as there is no requirement for trustees to be appointed.
Objectives and Activities
Belfast Celtic Society is a charity established in November 2003 to encourage an appreciation, knowledge and awareness among the general public of the historical and cultural heritage of Belfast Celtic Football and Athletic Club.
The main aims and objectives of the Belfast Celtic Society are to promote awareness of the history and cultural heritage of Belfast Celtic Football and Athletic Club. The Society arranges open lectures and public meetings; maintains a travelling photographic exhibition; has established a permanent collection of Belfast Celtic memorabilia and artefacts displayed at The Park Centre, Donegall Road, Belfast; collects filmed recordings of Belfast Celtic and actively uses the internet to raise awareness of the traditions of the Grand Old Team. The Society has applied for and has been granted charitable status as one of the main aims is to raise funds that go to charity.
