Trustee Report for the year ended 31st March 2023

We have much to thank and praise the Lord for as we think upon what has been achieved over the
last year in Tanzania.
Objects
The Trust was founded by Deed on 315t May 2000 for the relief of poverty and in particular:
1. For the relief of poverty and sickness and to advance education for the inhabitants of
Tanzania in all aspects of agriculture and related subjects, without distinction of sex, sexual
orientation, ra￿ or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said
inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effect
to advance education and to provide facilities in the object of improving the condition of life
for the said inhabitants.
2. To advance Christian religion.
3. To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determ ined.
Achievements and Perfonnance
The Trustees have had regard to the guidan￿ of the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland on
provision of public benefit and are confident that they have fully satisfied this requirement
throughout the year ended 3151 March 2023 through its activities.

Activities
As we look back over the past 12 months, we are thankful to the Lord for all His blessings, wisdom
and provision, and we can truly say that He has done all things well.
Fann
Craig and Helen continue to rnanage the farm, Unfortunately the crops suffered due to poor rains
and monkeys eating the nuts in the peanut field. However the goat herd continues to thrive. Mains
water is now supplying the fanm with five water meters which were installed at various locations
throughout the farm.
Church
The work in the church, led by Jery and Rachel Wyatt, continues to grow each week with the
faithful attending regularly and others accepting the Lord as their p8rsonal Saviour. There are now
two services on a Sunday with numbers around 100 each week. In addition, there is a Thursday
afternoon meeting, a lady's meeting and the Sunday School for children.
Dairy
The dairy is progressing slowly. It has a standing order for the supply of one hundred litres of milk
per day. It has also entered the yogurt market and is supplying small amounts to local shops.
Children's Home
Some highlights throughout the year included..
Three more children arrived at the children's home, Sada, Karen and Samson.
The total number of children in our care is now 38.
Four children accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour.
Mr & Mrs Tuff returned home on Furlough in April 2022. They returned to Tanzania in mid-
May 2022. Several deputation meetings were held.
Seven volunteers from the UK and USA helped with various tasks at the Childrens Home
throughout the year.
A five-day holiday Bible club was held for the children by two of the volunteers. The children
loved this experience.
The replacement nursery building was completed, and the babies moved in. The walls of
the old building were demolished, leaving a coveredlshaded area for the children to play.
Financial Review
Our main sources of income were individual and church group donations and gift aid.
At 3181 Marth 2022 the bank balances totalled £8,763.04 of which £6,692.46 was in Northem
Ireland.
