Objectives and aims
Hillsborough Community Centre Ltd facilitates and proactii."ely deiyelops a (hi'erse range of community
activities and interests M'ithin Hillsborough Village Centre and mak-es them open and accessible to ￿pIe of
all ages. abilities and back.grounds. Almost 100 (hi'erse user ￿0upS are accommodated at present. The
company also ivorks in partnetship ivith a range of sen.ice providers, local churches, schools and voluntary
organisations for the benefit of the comnllllllti" as a ivhole.
ACHIEVEMENT AIYD PERFORMANCE

but footfall and class numbers H'ere significantlv loiver than pre-COVID years.
The Centre on¢e again benefitted from Lisbum and Castlereagh City Councils support through an
emplwment ￿ant and also through help essential maintenance, support and gUtda￿e. Furth¢r grant
assistance Ivas gratefull5' receii'ed to provid¢ ¢ssential fimds during this difficult Jear.
FUTURE PLANS
In direct response to us¢r f¢edba¢L some ini'estm¢nt ivas made in ¢quipm¢nt for th6 C¢ntr¢ as iv¢ll as
essential repairs and reneivals - this m.as limited while income g¢neration continues to recovei fr¢)m the
pandemic.
Plans are still in place for an etsnsion to our facilities but fundmg for such projects is ditYi¢ult to find
urrently.

Feedback and control mechanisms exists in the forni of an annual uscr fonlln and annual user satisfaction
$un'ey. The￿ mcchanisms ar¢ used to ￿￿U[¢ that tbe company is meeting the needs of the whole
community as far as p)ssible and redirect operations ivhere n¢¢essary.
