Hillsborough Commumty Centre Ltd facilitates and proactii-el!, dei"elops a dii'erse range of community,
activities and interests ii.ithin Hillsborough Village Centre and mak.es them open and accessible to people of
all ages, abilities and back.grounds. Almost l(K) dii-erse user groups are accommodated at present. The

Charitable activities
Tlie iegulaI i¥li¥dul¥ vf gtOUPs, soricllcs and classes continued to recoi'er from the impact of the pandemic
but footfall and class numbers H"cre significantl!, loii'er than pre-COVID }'ears.
The Centre once again benefitted from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Councils support through an
emplo}ment grant and also through help ii.ith essential maintenance, support and guidance. Further grant
assistance lias gratefull5" receii'ed to provide essential funds during this difficiilt year.
FUTURE PLANS
In direct respons¢ to user feedba¢L somc ini"estm¢Dt il'as made in equipmcnt for the Ceiitre as iTrell as
essential repairs and renewals - this H'as limited ivhile income generation continues to recover from the
pandemic.
Plans are still in place for an extension to our facilities but funding for such projects is difficult to find
currently.
