Carrickfergus Congregational Church Trustees Report for the year ended 31st December 2023 

Work has continued at pace this year on the main Church Building after the extensive fire damage in 2022, this has mainly been structural and included the gutting of the interior. It is hoped that in early 2024 work will commence on reinstatement of the ceiling and replacement of the lime mortar on the walls followed by restoration of the wooden fixtures and fittings. 

The work on the unoccupied property has progressed very nicely and the exterior is now complete with new windows, doors, roof etc.  It is anticipated that work on the fixtures and fittings will commence in mid 2024. 

There were no other matters that involved Trustee input during the year.
