INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE COMMORATION COMMITTEE AGM 2023

Over the past year members of the IBCC have tried to pick up the pieces after the months of difficulties caused by covid.

Looking though the 2020/2021 AGM reports we can note that the May Day, Feile and other activities that did not take place.

2021 we held an outdoor event in place of the Feile and few of us were able to go to events.

However some of us attended the FIBI event in Omeath.

It was with sadness that we learnt of the death of Mel Corry 2020, and Manus O’ Riordan.

Some members also attended the IBMT AGM in Southampton in 2021 and in Manchester 2022.

Fiele event: Last year saw an improvement on the situation and we were able to organise for Jim Jump to speak at the feile about the maritime support that was given to the International Brigaders. There was a good attendance at he Shankill Library

Going into the 2023 we need to consider what events we can organise and attend
