## **Responsibility of the Trustees** 

The charity raises funds to fulfil its public benefit purpose by taking an offering twice on Sunday’s. This money is properly accounted for and recorded by keeping financial records that are prepared and submitted to an independent reviewer – Mr Andrew Bassett of JAB Accountants, 103 Cregagh Road, Belfast, BT6 8PY. 

## **Accounts** 

The church started the year with a balance of £8204.36 its income for the year was £142,435.16 and its expenditure was £149,566.82.  It was left with a bank balance of £1,082.70 

## **Loans** 

The Church has no loans to be repaid and no debts. 

## **Employees** 

As of December 31st 2022 the church employed 4 full time workers and 1 part time worker. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The benefits flowing from this purpose include an improvement in the knowledge and understanding of the Gospel for those people who choose to be part of the congregation. The Church meetings are free of charge, open to all and the public benefit of such meetings is expected to be through the promotion of family stability, wellbeing and making a positive contribution to society. The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are those people who choose to attend as the Church is open and available to all. We provide a service to people of the local community by the making available dedications of their children, weddings and funerals and the offer of any other assistance where we can help. 



## **Programmes and Achievements** 

In 2022 we provided an ran a variety of activities and programmes that met the needs of a growing congregation including two meeting on Sundays, a midweek meeting on a Tuesday evening that alternated between a prayer meeting and a Bible study which was well attended.  We also ran a variety of meetings and activities for all ages including a Sunday School, Discipleship course and Lunch club for Senior Citizens. 

A Gospel Mission was organised by bring Heavens Gates and Hells Flames and plans were being prepared for members of the church to attend a two week mission to the Helping Hands Ministry in the Philippines.

The Living Hope Belfast Church owns the premises at 25 Shankill Parade, the cost of building was approximately £800,000.00. 

The Living Hope Belfast Church currently has no loans or debts outstanding 

The main assets of the church are a variety of furniture, electrical equipment and technology used for the work of the church. 

The approximate value of all assets and equipment is £20,000. All buildings, assets and equipment are held in trust by the existing trustees of the Living Hope Belfast Church.
