Thi5 has been a drfficuh period for the Forum and for swety rn General, coming straight out of the Covid stiuabon we have seen the much talked alx)ut cost of liwng, protocol issues, nori-exislence of local Government. All these issues have made the procurement of fuTKling even nNye ￿￿¢VIt for the Forum and for Ihe individual groups. Change has also taken pl￿ within the forum, wilh the resignation of both our Community Development Manager Carolyn. which I would like lo place on record and acknowtedge her rnassÉve contribulion lo the Forum and the eslale during her period wlh us. I would like to thank each and every member of the Forum for attending meets.ngs and the work they have committed themselves to in ensuring the work ofthe Forum has continued despite major challenges. The biggest challeThJe over the last year has been the finalising of the deal with LIDL around provilling fvnding us to develop the MUGA s(Kial enterprise. There was lol of hard work by members of Ihe Forum on this at￿ Sometimes feit like il would never gel over the line. This project wll be key to the sustainabtlity of this estate and the￿ is much hard work to come over the coming months to get this seen through to the end. a special menlK)n on this goes lo Sara Bunting and Edwn Pools who provided much neede(I help on this parb"culady over the final stages and I know they are still very much on board with this woject. Our current core funding with DFC through the Neighbouthoc¥J Renewal Programme has been extended several time5. M has been agreed to April 2024 with the expectation Ihal this wll be extended lo April 2W25. FThYever this has not been officially confirmed. The access to funding from SRRP has been maintained and wll eijntinue lo be maintained and this does help lo keep the Forum afloat yeaf to year. Going fO￿ard I feel we need lo keep on wilh the momentum built up on the MUG we have seen much change over the year and we now need a pellod of stability, we need lo gel our W0￿e1 in pe, UkNJate our kx)li¢ies and

procedures and every representative to work togelher for the good of the Forum and our Community. I believe we have good people on the fofum ￿th good he8rts for IF)is community and together we can help to build and strengthen Suffolk.
