The Church Trustees have much pleasure in presenting their report for the year ending 31
December 2022.
Church seritces were held every sunday morninR at 11.30am and conducted by our Mtnister Rev.
Chris Wilson. We had our speclal Easter Service, Motherfs Day Service, Harvest and Candlelight
Services. Also Communion Service in May and November and Remembrance Day Service.
Rev. Chris Wilson does pastoral visiting twice a year to all out church members as well as visiting the
sick and elderly in hospital and Care Homes and in their own home. Our Sunday school re-opened
again In September. Bible cla55 now meets in the Manse and it is hoped that the Prayer Group and
Conversation Group will re-stsrt soon. Moneyreagh Church is also an active member of The
Comber ChurchesTogether when Ministers swap Pulpits.

On Sunday S June Moneyreagh Church hosted a Thanksgiving Queen's Platinum Jubilee Service
All the community organisation5 that are in Moneyreagh took part in the Ser￿ICe after which light
refreshments were Served in the Lyttle Memorial Hall. The collectlon was in aid of the Air Ambulance
Session members meet bi-monthly to help organise the special sepiices. Session a150 do twice yearly
visits to church members and help to distribute the fruit, flowers and vegetables to the elderly
members of the congregation and also to the local food bank.
The church cornrnittee members meet monthly to conduct church business. They are responsible tor
the upkeep of church property and also church finances. To help raise church funds one of our
Church Elders alonR with Some friends did a Cycle ride of 30 miles found the local locality.
The bowling Club, The youth organisations, Young Farmers, Club, Michelle Johnston School of
Dancing use the Lyttle Memorial every week. Moneyreagh Primary School hold rehearsals for the
school concert which takes place at the end of March. Birthday parties are also held in the Lyttle
Memorial Hall. The School hold their Christmas Carol Service on alternate years with the local
Presbyterian Church. The Lyttle Memorial Hall is open to all communities to use.
We continue to 5UPPOrt the Denominational Orphan society and collect used postage stamps for the
Leprosy Mi55ion. The Christmas Tree Appeal went to motor Neurone Disease.
We are conscious that church activities are now back in full. The Trustees have regard to the benefit
of the public ensuing that Church works to enrich the lives of church members, theirfamilies and all
the organisations attached to the Church and the wider cornmunity. In doing so the Church seeks as
its charitable purposes to promote the inalienable right of every Christian to search the record of
Divine Truth for his own instrvction and Guidance, to form his own opinions with regard to what
they teach, and worship God in sincerity, agreeably to the dictates of his own con5ClOUS Wlthout
privation, penalty. or inconvenience inflicted by his fellow-man.

The Church is governed by Trust Deed and acts in accordan￿ with The Constttution and Code of
Discipline. of the Non-subscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland.
The following individuals sepled as charity trustee5 during the year on the date the Trustee report
was approved: Mr. Hugh Hogg, Mr. James Blair, Mr. David Nelson Bryce, Mrs. Anne Catherine
Tweed. Miss Gwendoline Florence Mavienne Kinnear. Mrs. Elizabeth Ann McLoughlin, Mr. Samuel
James Dickson, Mrs. Roberts Georgina Carson, Mrs. Heather Mclver.
