**Purposes:** We are established to advance the education of young people in Northern Ireland and to encourage their social,emotional and vocational development without distinction of gender,disability,sexual orientation,nationality,ethnic identity,political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities,community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort and in particular to provide residential educational courses, mentoring and small group meetings; to provide financial support and assistance with the finding of training, education or initiative based ideas; to raise awareness of the challenges faced by young people amongst the general public.
