Chalr Report, Achlgvement8 and plan• for thè futur¢ The chairrnan welcomed everyone lo the 34th AGM ol the Foyle Civic Trust and reviewed the aclivi116s during the year and plans for the fulure. We have made progress during this year, includlng a successful application being made lo the Heritage Lollery Fund lor the Build Heritage project, which formally started in May 2023. The Trust also conlinued Its work lo increase recognition of the Olstinclive history, cullure and physical legacy of the area and improve and protect the built and natural 8nvironmenl and held functions with key industry speakers. Th8 Foyle Civic Trust will continue this work in the forthcoming years. Flnanclal revlew During the year Income of £147 was recelved and costs of £1,046 were incurred to leave a net dellcll 01 £899. The reserves al the end ol the year were £2,577 01 which all are unrestricted. The Trustees were pleased with the results for Ihe year. Ro8ervei poll¢y and golng concorn Reserves are needed lo bridge the gap bemeen the spending and reGelving of Income and to cover unplanned emergency cosls. Due lo the nature ol Charity, no activities are started or costs incurred until lunds are secured from members.
