## Activities

**Purposes:** The Company is established to advance health, community development and the prevention and relief of sickness by managing a health and wellbeing hub to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the public, primarily in the North Belfast constituency, and surrounding areas in Belfast in collaboration with cross-sectoral partners and in particular, but not exclusively:   (a)	to provide advice, information, educational programmes and a range of health and wellbeing support services to people who are suffering from cancer and their families.  (b)	to enable people to work together to foster an atmosphere of mutual support, helping to create change and build a more resilient, sustainable and empowered community.   (c) 	to provide health awareness to the public and health promotion support through educational programmes, information on services and resources available to address inequalities in health and wellbeing and the impact of poverty.  (d)	to work with the community to address new and emerging health needs.  (e) 	to advance the education of the public about the effects of cancer and to raise awareness about the high levels and impact of cancer particularly in disadvantaged communities.
