Foundation s purpose is to prornote the charirable purpgse OF the College. The Foundation is not subject to
5Lwficant risk-s. as don2ti0ns are only tnade to the colle￿ when tunds ate av2Jlable and funds are held in short
terrn deposits prior to donation co the College. Risks are COns￿ered by rhe TEusic¢s on a regular basis 2nd thc
systems currendy in place ro mitigate those risks are considered appropriate.

Chariry's objectives, in relation to each fundrnising prioriry. These were as Eollows:

secured 48 /0 donations from parents. 280/0 donations from OBS. 14°/o from st2fE 2nd 80/0 from fn"ends.

during the event. 5(W/o of Giving dooots also donated to St Andrth¢s Srudy Centre whLch demonstrares

Investmeni powers and policy
Under the Memorandum and Arllcles of Association, the Charity has the power to inrest the monies of the
Foundallon nor irnmeth"ately required for its own purposes such investtnents, securities or property as the
Trustees Ivish. Surplus fuods are hdd on short tertn deposi15 for speafic projects.
Reserves
The level OE reseEves at the year-end was £724.70] (2024". £644.860) These resetves are held by the Foundauon
unui they are required by BradfLdd College to pay for the projects Eor which the donations have been received.
The College incurs the Costs and then receives donations from the Foundauon to cover these costs.
The Chariry does not set x specific ￿neral level of targei reserves. but instead considers each specific project
accord￿g to the oeed of funds required by the Colle￿.
Plans for future periods
The key Eundraising priorities in the coming year are to support the building projects as idenufied in the Campus
Development FramthvorL the continuation of the 175 Butsary campajgn Ihtough re-invigorate regLdar ￿Tring
2nd recruitrnent to Ihe 1850 I£￿cY Society.

Following completion of the Si Andrews SDJdy Centre. the next capiul project identified by the

hearr of the boarding hO￿t5. Thi5 projeci was appioved by Council in June 2025 and is
currendy out for tender. TendeT5 ar¢ du¢ by the end OF 2025 when the fioal decA5ion wjll be
made.
Until the project offici)Jly launches, we ￿ryJI continue to identify and porentiaL rnajor
donors through 1-2-1 conversations and Foundation Dinners. Current donors have agreed tliat
if the projecr does not go 2heid, rheAr donations can be transferred 10 the Bursary Fund.
