## **TRUSTEES’ REPORT**
## **For the year ended 31 August 2022**
## **Descriptions of the charity’s trusts**
The charity is governing document is its Constitution, which is reviewed annually.
The charity is constituted as an Association.
The Trustees are elected by membership.
## **Charitable objectives**
The charitable objective is to provide funds for Our Lady Immaculate School in Chelmsford, Essex via several fundraising initiatives.
The funds are managed by the Trustees but are ultimately for the benefit of the school and its pupils.
## **Key achievements and performance**
Key achievements in the year consisted of;
- Agreeing to an on-going annual IT commitment of £5,000 for the school
- Various fun activity days for the pupils of the school
- Funding for furniture for several classrooms
- Author and poet visits to the school
- Support with the funding for various curriculum improvements
- Improvements to the playground
All of the above would not have been possible with the generous support of the wider Friends Association team, the school and families and friends of the pupils.
## **Reserves**
Reserves are held by the charity until projects or funding opportunities are identified by the school and the Friends Association.

## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF OUR LADY IMMACULATE SCHOOL FRIENDS ASSOCIATION For the year ended 31 August 2022**
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Our Lady Immaculate Friends Association for the year ended 31 August 2022.
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity trustees of Our Lady Immaculate Friends Association you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
I report in respect of my examination of Our Lady Immaculate Friends Association accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent examiner’s statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of Our Lady Immaculate Friends Association as required by section 130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
