The care and eevelopment of the collection has dominated the work ol our small staff. augmented by a growing band of commilL8d and higily eNectiva volunteers. We have accept8d numerous irnportanl acquisitions into the collection.. the58 hav8 includ8d artefacls, medals. archive rnaterial and library bo(A(s. Conservation projects have beÈn undÈrtaken al Wood Road and out in loan locations. with a particular focus on older piece5 which hav• dalerioratèd through baing displayed outside. Th numbar ol visrtors to Wood Road has grown during thè y&ar to over 800,. th8se have included regimental personnel, veteran5, 5chaols and cofflmunity group5 and the general public. Both bespoke Visits and heritage open days are offered with the latter being parb'cularly well attended.
