**Objects:** I) TO FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF DEAF-BLIND PERSONS BY EVERY MEANS AND IN EVERY WAY OPEN TO IT. DEAF-BLIND TO INCLUDE THOSE SUBSTANTIALLY DEPRIVED OF SIGHT AND HEARING. II) TO HELP THE DEAF-BLIND TO LIVE AS USEFUL MEMBERS OF ANY COMMUNITY IN WHICH THEY MAY FIND THEMSELVES AND WHENEVER AND WHEREVER POSSIBLE TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT CONTACT AND FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE DEAF-BLIND AND SIGHTED HEARING PERSONS. III) TO BUILD OR PURCHASE AND MAINTAIN FLATS, GUESTHOUSES SHELTERED AND OTHER ACCOMMODATION FOR THE BENEFIT AND USE OF DEAF-BLIND PEOPLE. IV) TO ENCOURAGE THE SIGHTED HEARING PUBLIC AT LARGE TO BE AWARE OF THE NEEDS AND CAPABILITIES OF THE DEAF-BLIND. V) TO PROVIDE AND ENCOURAGE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE HELP, COMFORT AND INSTRUCTION OF THE DEAF-BLIND INCLUDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGIONAL OFFICES DIVISIONS AND CLUBS FOR THE DEAF-BLIND.

**Activities:** Deafblind UK has supported those with dual sensory loss since 1928, helping them overcome the unique set of challenges they face every single day. We offer complimentary membership, with all our services being delivered free of charge. We help to reduce loneliness and isolation, and promote social inclusion, thereby allowing people who are deafblind to live their lives with dignity and purpose.
