Planning Aid service provides advice and support - on town planning matters - which is free, independent and professional. The advice provided clearly reflects the current UK planning system, but is not part of local or central government nor developer influenced. We work with individuals and communities all over London to help them with changes in their neighbourhoods and areas.

Objects: To Advance The Education And Relief Of Poverty Of The Public Of Greater London (the Area Served By The London Boroughs). To Advance The Education Of The Public By Informing Them How The Town Planning System Works Including The Making And Determining Of Planning Application And Appeals, And The Preparation Of Local, Unitary And Strategic Plans. To Provide Free Quick And Professional Advice, Independent Of Local Authorities On Particular Town Planning Problems, Issues Or Decisions, Which Are Of Concern To Individuals Or Local Groups, Who Are Unable To Afford A Planning Consultant. To Explain The Technical, Administrative And Legal Matters Associated With These Planning Problems, Issues Or Decisions And To Assist Those Seeking Advice To Participate Constructively In The Planning Process. To Help Individuals And Local Groups To Gain The Knowledge And Confidence To Effectively Pursue Their Own Town Planning And Related Issued Themselves.
