This is a family trust.
David Meryon is our son, and is married to Ruthie Meryon.
Matthew Thorne is married to our daughter, Iona.
Mark Silver is married to our daughter, Rosanna.
At some future stage, Iona Throne and Mark Silver will probably become trustees.

Section C Objectives and activities
To distribute the Meryon families’ annual charitable donations, principally to Christian projects, mainly in the UK but also in countries abroad. Unrestricted funds for annual distribution according to the year’s Summary of the objects of the perceived needs. charity set out in its Restricted funds for specific projects such as Archbishop Alapayo in governing document Rumbek (Southern Sudan), Hanni Alkazraji (Albania) and Pastor Saras in Bethlehem.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
In this year 100 % of expenditure is directly for the charitable causes. Bank charges which are kept to an absolute minimum (£0 this year), mainly by using approved couriers to take grants when they travel; risk of fraud is avoided by requiring Receipts signed by the recipients. In FY22-23: Income: £ 138,204 Expenditure: £ 56,924 Investments: £96,757 In-year excess: £ 4,523. Balance to carry forward into FY23-24: £7620.
