The charity promotes and encourages the study of archaeology and local history in South West Hertfordshire through a programme of lectures and events, such as excavations, visits to locations of archaeological and historical interest, and the production of a regular newsletter.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Study Of Archaeology And History In Watford And The Surrounding Area And To Promote For The Public Benefit The Preservation, Investigation, Excavation And Restoration Of Local Antiquties And Buildings Of Historical Interest In The Said Area.
