Principal aims and activities The principal aims and activities of the charity are: The maintenance of institutions for the advancement of the Roman Catholic Religion; The assistance of person in need by reason of poverty," The maintenance and support of mi55ionaries of the Roman Catholic Church who are under the patrona8e of Cardinal Glemp; The maintenance and education in the United Kingdom of Polish students for the Roman Catholic priesthood. Those aims and activities have been serviced by donations and interest from investments. CARDINAL GLEMP FOUNDATION Charity Registration Number 802147 INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE CARDINAL GLEMP FOUNDATION I report on the accounts of the Foundation for the year ended 31 December 2024. which are set out on page 5. Basis of Independent Examinerfs report The Independent examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fairf view and the report is lirnited to those matters set out in the statement below. Independent Examinerfs Statement In connection with the examination, no matter has come to the attention of the independent examiner (other than that disclosed below): (i) which gives the independent examiner asonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements: to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act and section 44{1){a} of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulation5 and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 and section 44 (1)(b) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 8 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations Act have not been met; or (2) to which the independent examinerfs attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
