Constitution and Objects
The Trust is an unincorporat¢d body. created by Trust deed on 29th Augw4t 1989. The charitable objects of the Trust are
wide and are at the absolute discretion of the iruste&%. The policy of the trust¢¢s h&5 been to support a range of charities,
particularly assisting disahled or deprived children both in the United Kingdom and overseas, conservation of the
environment and providing for the welfare of animals.
Organisalion
The trustees meel a minimum of twice a year. During the OctobcrlNovembcr meeting the accounls for thc previous
financial year are discussed and the level of donations lo be distributed before Christmas is set. In March the perfornjanee
of the investments is discussed.
Grant Making Policy
The charity invites applications for funding from other local charities. I'h¢ Irusle¢s also make suggestions as to whom
should benefit from the charity. All written applications are monilored throughout the year and then thoroughly discussed
and rescarched duriiig tlie early autuinn.
Re8erv&$ Policy
It is the policy of the Trust lo mainlain ut)reslricted thnds, which are the free reb¢rves of the Trust, at a level that equates to
approximatcly six months unrestricted expendilure. This provides sufficlenl funds lo cover management and administration
support costs and to r¢spond to emergency applications for grants which arisc from tirne to time. Unrestricled funds were
maintained at this level throug￿out the year.
Risk Management
The Iruslees have examined the major slralegic, busines5 and operational ri.sk.% which the Tru%t faces and confirn) that
systems have been established tu cnable rc¥ular reports to bc produced so that thc necessary stcps can be taken to Iva%en
the rlsks.
We confirm that the accounts comply with thc Trust Dccd and the Statement of R¢commended Practice 2005. Accounting
and Reportin¥ by Charitie%.
