made proviskon for donations of £5,255 to different org8rNsations (as listed in note 6 to the
accounts).

I report to the Truslees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity I'the Trusf) for the
year ended 5th April 2024.
Responsibilities and basls of report
As the charitys Trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of Ihe accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111.the A¢f).
I report in respect of my 8xamination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have frjllowed all the applicable Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(51{b) of the ACL
Independent examlnefs statement
The charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to undertake the examination by
being a qualified member of The Assooation of Chartered certif￿ Accountants.
I have completed my examinats'on. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection wth the examination whtch gives me cause to believe that in, any material resp8cL
.thé arxounts'ng records were not kept in accordan￿ with seth'on 130 of the Chariti'es Art or
.the accounts did not accord the accounting records: or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements con¢eming the form and content (
accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulats'ons 2008 other than any

Basis of preparation
The accounts have been wepared on the accruals basis. under the histortcal cost convention,
and in accordance with the Financial Reporb'ng Standard 102, (effec*ve 1st January 2016) and
'FRS 102 SORP {Statement of Recommended Prartice for Accounttru and Reporbng by
Charities) 2015. (as amended by the Bulletin issued in October 2018 and appIl￿ble to all
accounting perii)ds tsginning on or after 1st January 2019), (The SORP}. published by the
Chanty Commisston in England & Wales (CCEW) . effective January 2016. . and in acwryjance
with all applicable law in the chartils jurisdiction of registration, ex￿pt that the tharity has
prepared the financial statements in accordan￿ wth the FRS 102 SORP (Statement of
Recommended practi￿ ft)r Accounting and Reporting by Charities) 2015. (as amended. by the
Bulleb'n issued in October 2018 and applicable to all accounting periods beginning on or after 1 st
January 2019), (The SORP). in preference to the previous SORP, the SORP 2005, whith has
been wthdr8vm, notwlthstsnding the fact that the exlant statutory regulatr'ons. the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulalions 21J)8 refer explicitly to the SORP 2005. This has been done
to accord current best practice.
Incoming resources

Charitable expenditure
Donations. which are payable at the sole discretion of the Trustees, are accounted for on an
accruaSs basis.
Management and administration costs indude expenditure on administration of the charity and
Complian￿ with constitirtional and ststLrtory requirements aTrJ are accounted for on an accruals
basis.
Cost of generating funds
Management and running ctjsts are ac(x)unted for on an aLx¥uals basis.
Fund accounfjng
General funiis are unrestrirted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the Ttustees
in furtheran￿ of the general objectives of the charty and have not been designated for
other purposes.
Taxation
The charity is a register&J charity. and a5 suth is entitled to certain tax exemptions on income
and profits from investments. and surpluses on any tradin9 activities Ca￿led on in fijrtherancg of
the tharity's wimary objectives, rf these profts and surF4uses are applied solely for charitable
purposes.
The charity is not registered for VAT and accordingly, all their expenditure is re¢orded inclusive of
any VAT incurred.
