**Objects:** (A) THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISIONS OR FACILITIES WHICH WILL ENABLE AND ENCOURAGE PUPILS OF SCHOOLS IN ANY PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER YOUNG PEOPLE TO ROW OR TO SCULL OR TO PLAY OTHER GAMES OR SPORTS AND THEREBY AND ASSIST IN ENSURING THAT DUE ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH PUPILS AS WELL AS TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND OCCUPATION OF THEIR MINDS AND WITH A VIEW TO FURTHERING THIS OBJECT: (B) THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PHYSICAL RECREATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE IN ANY PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM (WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE PUPILS OF SCHOOLS AND FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FOR WHOM THE SAME ARE PROVIDED) FOR PUPILS OF SCHOOLS AND FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES.
