| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period. Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves Amount of reserves held Details of any funds materially in deficit Explanation of any uncertainties about the charity continuing as a going concern. |
23/24 fees were kept in line with the 22/23 fees. The school was fortunate to receive a generous donation of £10k during the year which is unrestricted and should be spent where there is the greatest need in order to fulfil the School’s charitable objectives. The net financial position was £11.5k and in line with the expectations of the Trustees. It is the policy of the trustees to retain in unrestricted reserves, amounts which in their judgement, can help to mitigate the effects of income volatility and retain funds to meet current and future operational activities of the charity. At the end of 23/24, the reserves were £155k, of which £30k is considered to be restricted and the remainder unrestricted. There are no funds which are in deficit. |
|---|---|

It is my responsibility to:

An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
-
Independent In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention examiner's statement 1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements:
