Teaching Chinese in the Cantonese dialect and Traditional Writing.
The School use teaching materials specially developed by the UK Chinese
Schools Association for local students. We focus our teaching on listening,
speaking, reading and writing Chinese.
We encourage activity-based learning and participate in cultural activities
including calligraphy, story-telling and festive card design competitions.
Lessons are conducted face to face in classrooms located in Pinner High
School. We also offer a Chinese Dancing Class – the students perform
regularly to external audiences across the region.
The Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity
Commission on public benefit.

During the year, there were 154 pupils who attended Cantonese Chinese Summary of the main classes from nursery to GCSE Level Standard. achievements of the charity during the year We are proud that: • Our GCSE Level pupils have continued to achieve excellent examination results. • Our School took part in various Chinese calligraphy and writing competitions and achieved impressive results.

23/24 fees were kept in line with the 22/23 fees.
The school was fortunate to receive a generous donation of £10k during
the year which is unrestricted and should be spent where there is the
greatest need in order to fulfil the School’s charitable objectives.
The net financial position was £11.5k and in line with the expectations of
the Trustees.
It is the policy of the trustees to retain in unrestricted reserves, amounts
which in their judgement, can help to mitigate the effects of income
volatility and retain funds to meet current and future operational activities
of the charity.
At the end of 23/24, the reserves were £155k, of which £30k is
considered to be restricted and the remainder unrestricted.
There are no funds which are in deficit.
There is no uncertainty about the charity continuing as a going concern.
