||||CARING FORTHE POOR ABROAD|||
||||Sponsorship<br>for one university<br>student<br>in Rwanda to complete<br>her training<br>was|||

||||education. .Financial<br>help was given throughout|the year to provide food for those||
||||suffering<br>poverty<br>in the local Rwandan<br>community<br>during the effects ofCovid. The trust|||
||||continued<br>regular giving to third world countries through Tear fund and Open Doors —this|||
||||was achieved<br>through<br>hosting a Tear Fund Quiz|and by special information<br>services||
||||regarding<br>Open Doors.|||
||||YOUNG PEOPLE|||
||||The Trust supports<br>Catalyst, a youth project supporting<br>young people<br>in church youth|||
||||clubs and local secondary schools. This included|"detached" work in two local villages|be|
||||engaging<br>with local young people. Increased<br>financial support enabled<br>two trainees to be|||
||||sponsored.<br>Trust members<br>supported<br>mentoring|for students<br>in the local College who||
||||need extra help.|||
||||TAVISTOCK|||
||||Night and daytime Street Pastor patrols continue on aweekly basis supported||by|
||||the Trust.<br>We have also been involved<br>with|helping<br>Ukrainian<br>refugees||
||||particularly<br>in supporting<br>a language<br>cafe for them.<br>A Debt Advice group is also|||
||||running<br>with our support.|||
||||RECREATION &BENEFITING THE TOWN:|||
||||The local Men in Sheds project has grown to over 30members<br>and a second|||
||||shed was constructed<br>this year. This is now|thriving<br>and is a community<br>project.||
||||Tavistock Food Hub caters for 30individuals/families<br>every week, with double that|||
||||amount<br>during the cold weather.|||
