**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT THE SIMON BALLE SCHOOL BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABE SUCH PUPILS TO PURSUE EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR WHICH THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY DOES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT.

**Activities:** This charity makes grants to current (or ex) students of Hertford&#x27;s Simon Balle School. Its purpose is to help students in financial need to participate in worthwhile extracurricular activities which the LEA does not support. These activities will normally be educational, sporting, artistic or cultural in nature. Where appropriate students are expected to show initiative by their own fund-raising.
