The MALL SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
Objectives
The objectives of the Association is to advance the education of pupils at The Mall School and build a sense of community between children, parents and teachers and to enhance the enjoyment of the school years. This is achieved by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school such as:
-
organising activities to raise funds for the provision of school equipment; and
-
provision of after-school activities for the pupils and parents.
Achievements and performance
In 2023 The Mall School became co-educational, welcoming girls and boys into the September 2023 Reception class. A donation of £22,000 towards the Junior Playground refurbishment was made to The Mall School.
Below is a summary of current year versus previous years of the amount donated to The Mall School. 2022/23 is showing as a nil balance, however the playground donation was made possible through fundraising activities over the two financial years. Despite the difficulties of COVID restrictions, in 2020-22, the £10,000 donation to the new library was made in October 2021.
