The object of the Ramgarhia Gurdwara Society shall be the advancement of the Ramgarhia denomination of the Sikh religion in Hitchin, Letchworth, Stevenage, Luton and surrounding areas. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

As mentioned in Section C, these activities are continuous and the local Sikh community benefit from the teaching and activities that the Ramgarhia Gurdwara Society undertakes on an annual basis.

Many Sangrands and Gurpurbs have taken place at the Gurdwara benefitting both the general public and the Sikh community. With audience from Sikh lectures and religious discourses. Kirtan by Ragi’s and learned scholars supplement the offerings provided by the Gurdwara to the community.

We have regular visits from local schools from Hitchin and surrounding areas to make both primary and secondary school children aware of the principles of Sikhism and functionality of the local Gurdwara in the community.

Punjabi lessons for the youth and Yoga classes continued and we thank the volunteers who have found the time to help the Gurdwara in fulfilling their objectives.

All income from donations less expenses incurred must be banked in accordance with the constitution. These reserves are to be used for the future benefit of the Ramgarhia Gurdwara Society in line with its objects.

Expenditure incurred enabled the premises to be used for the fullest extent to achieve the objectives of the Gurdwara.
