The remaining building repairs, listed at the last Quinquennial Inspection. were completed at
St Saviour's. These included significant repair and repointing to the exterior wall at the East
end of the church and works in the South Transept. In addition, the external vesty door was
repaired and works were carried out to the North Transept window. Three roof leaks were
promptly resolved while the contractors were on site, which w&s fortuitous.

The Parish appointed a Propety Manager to oversee and plan for the maintenance of all
Parish buildings and grounds. This brings a professional approach to everything property
related from repairs and maintenance to heating and electricity and enables the Parish to be
proactive. The work to assess, survey and review our buildings continues. Our current boilers
are reaching the end of their lifespans and this year new heating controllers and boiler fans
were required in two churches.

With the support of a Diocesan grant, in addition to matched funding from the Ecclesiastical
Share, the Parish appointed a Youth Minister. This has enabled the Parish to carry out it's
Mission Action Plan to encourage children and young people from th¢ local community to
become involved in the church. The Youth Minister also rLmS a programme of outreach to
local schools and youth groups. Hundreds of schoolchildren have taken part in activities at St
Clements. A new baby/toddler group has been set up for local families. This work is
progressing well and further expansion will take place during 2025.
