The Association ha5 a150 provided loan facilities and grants (o s¢rying soldiers who through no fault of their own filld
them$¢lv¢s in ShOrt-te￿ financial difficulties as a r¢sult of their servitt.
During this pcriod the Regim¢ot relumd from its deploymeni on OP CABIUT, th¢ UK'S contribution toward8 NATO'$
support of the Polattd and th¢ Baltic StstC8 in the Ihr¢ttt wsed by Russia.
The RY Associations contributed to social events for the soldiers retyrn as well as pr¢setttations to the Soldiers. The
Association also hel￿1 the Regirnental Recn]iting Team in enhatlcing the R¢￿Tllental recruiting stand with 'video game,
type experienc¢ for potential recruits with the purchase of 8aming equipment for the Stand. Contributions were also made
toward5 adventtre trainittg and other sporting attd social activitie8. Expenditute duTing this period lower thatl
¢xpecled as many a¢tivitie5 were cancelled or reduced sn scale due io the ongoing social dTstancinE attd other restrictions
caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. A'homecoming, parade that was planned for the troops rctuming fron] Op CABRIT
was Ix)5tponed until 2022.

The Royal Yeotllanry R¢gimertlal A$$ociation was set up in 1988. 11 is a registtred charity Ino. 80(N)55) which is govetned
by a Constithtiotl subje¢t to charitie8 law and the $upcrvision of the Charititts Commission.
Ori8inally administered by tbe R¢giment itself a change itt the law required all militsry charities to be run inde￿nd¢￿tlY.
W<)rf(ing closely with the lollg¢r ¢stabli5hed Squadron Associations the RYRA 1$ now the maitt body that exists for the
purpose of providing organisational as well as financial support to th¢ Regiment and ils member& saving and veterans.
Anyotle who has served as & Royal Yeoman is a potetttial benefi¢iary of the Asso¢iation. The Association also organises
the Regirnent's participatioll in the Cavalry Memorial Parade and olher¢vents.
Put￿5 were originatly raised for th¢ Association through the 'orte dÈy'$ pay sch¢m¢' which pU￿haSed i125uranr¢ before
the Arnied Forces Cotnpensation Schctne and other 'safety nets. w¢re put in place. The Association then T¢lied for a
number of ye#r8 on voluntary contributions fro]n 5¢rving 2lld fomier mtmbers of the Regiment. Some of the donations
still received are mÈde on this basis. In 2016 th¢ one day's pay scheme was reitttroduced and for the last two the
R¢gimcnt ha5 receivd donations from serving membets of the R¢giment this way whieh has helped the A550ciation plan
for the future with ￿uCh mor¢ cenaittty.
In 2012 th¢ RegiM￿tal PRI Ishopl was by the A850ciation and sells Regimental uniforni items and b[￿ded
products via an online shop. Amodest profit is ¥TLade oll each item in order to intrease Iht Senerdl fiu]ds of the Chatity.
