**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A MUSEUM OF ARTIFACTS AND SPECIMENS RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF RIPON AND DISTRICT AND FINE AND APPLIED ARTS AND CRAFTS.

**Activities:** Thorpe Prebend acts as a Heritage Centre for the Cathedral and houses exhibits which unveil the Story of Ripon and the Cathedral over the centuries.Schools use the house for educational visits.Local organisations hold lectures in Thorpe Prebend on historic events.
