AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

To raise funds for William Shrewsbury Primary School.

To give each year group a contribution towards school trips/activities and reduce the cost to parents.

To provide new equipment needed at school but not within the school budget.

Organise events to raise funds for William Shrewsbury Primary School, such as School discos, Summer Galas and Christmas Fayres.

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

Over the years, we have supported William Shrewsbury Primary School, and all the money we raised as a charity goes back into the school. We aim to fulfil the school's requests for projects and equipment to help the children succeed and have an enjoyable education.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

Over the 2022/23 financial year, the charity raised an outstanding £20,000 for the school through various events, from themed discos to our biggest event, the Summer Gala. Whilst our receipts versus the prior year have shown an increase, you will note that direct costs have increased, which continually challenges the committee.

We have committed £12,000 0f the funds raised in 2022/23 to support educational and enrichment projects.

The outlook for the next financial year is positive; planning of future events is already taking place.
