AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
To raise funds for William Shrewsbury Primary School.
To give each year group a contribution towards school trips/activities, and reduce the cost to parents.
To provide new equipment that is needed at school, but not within the school budget.
To organise events to raise funds for William Shrewsbury Primary School, such as School discos, Summer Galas and Christmas Fayres.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Over the years we have managed to provide support to William Shrewsbury Primary School and all of the money we as a charity have raised goes back into the school. We aim to fulfil all requests the school make for projects and equipment which will help the children to succeed and have an enjoyable education.
This was our second year of being affected by the restrictions in place due the Covid 19 pandemic. Lots of restrictions were put on socialising activities and so the PTA were unable to put on any face to face fund raising activities.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Over the 2021/22 financial year the charity successfully raised an outstanding £11,000 for the school through various events from themed discos to our biggest event of the year; the Summer Gala.
After struggling to raise funds throughout the global pandemic, we have, during the second part of the financial year been able to hold a number of events which have been a huge success and have enabled us to support the school with the financial support that they have required.
The outlook for the next financial year is positive, planning of future events is already taking place.
