Objects: A) To Provide For The Prescot School (Or Other Such Reorganised School At Prescot As May Replace The Said School) Such Special Benefits Of Any Kind Not Normally Provided By The Local Education Authority As May From Time To Time Be Agreed Between The Governors Of The Foundation And The Governors Of The 25 Years Of Age Who Are In Need Of Financial Assistance And Either Who Are Attending Or Have For Not Less Than Two Years At Any Time Attended Prescot School Or Prescot Girls Grammar School (Or Such Other Reorganised Schools At Prescot As Have Replaced Or May Place The Said Schools) Or Who (In So Far As The Income Is Not Replaced For Such Persons Attending Of Having Attended As Aforesaid) Are Resident In The Area Of The Former Urban District Of Prescot, In One Or Both Of The Following Ways Or In Such Other Ways As The Governors Think Fit: 1) In Awarding To Such Persons Scholarships, Exhibitions, Bursaries, Maintenance Allowances Or Grants Tenable At Any School, University, College Of Education, Or Other Institution Of Further (Including Professional And Technical) Education Approved For The Purpose By The Governors 2) In Providing Financial Assistance, Outfits, Clothing, Tools, Instruments Or Books To Assist Such Persons To Pursue Their Education (Including The Study Of Music And Other Arts To Undertake Travel In Furtherance Thereof, Or To Prepare For Or Enter A Profession, Trade, Occupation Or Service On Leaving School, University Or Other Educational Establishment.
